Season Matters

it's not just about food

One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.

Fresh Home Made Pasta

the first thought that comes to mind when you think Italy is pasta, but everyone can make a good pasta recipe with a little effort.
the secret does not lie in its difficulty but in its simplicity; only when you prepare dishes from scratch, from the basic ingredients needed can you aspire for authenticity.
The true Italian Pasta has to be al dente and the perfect cooking never takes more than 3min when you have Fresh egg pasta, which is why we make it our self to ensure its quality.

Italian Truffle

"A truffle ( /ˈtrʌfəl/) is the fruiting body of an underground mushroom; spore dispersal is accomplished through fungivores, animals that eat fungi. Almost all truffles are ectomycorrhizal and are therefore usually found in close association with trees." ~wikipedia
Truffle is not an obvious delicacy that everyone knows or likes. The perfume will remind you of garlic but true connoisseurs will tell you with uncanny precision the month and season it comes from. Our Truffles are supplied directly from the Italian hills of Molise.

Only fruit & Vegetables from Local Farms

Our suppliers, Taylors of St. James buys directly from the farms, bringing only the freshest produce direct to you and; their green policy puts the environment in first place and by buying direct we help reduce the food miles and carbon footprint.
One of our aims is to bring the seasons back into the forefront of our menu building and food service. We encourage our clients, with this site and our work ethos, to embrace the seasons and their fresh produce. You will find seasonal charts not only for the UK but for the whole world within easy reach to help you eat with the seasons and invite your friends and guests to eat seasonal produce.
